Celebrating Our Students!

If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.

~ Nelson Mandela

Language truly is what binds us all, and at JACC, the dedicated volunteers who our Hebrew language and ESL classes are working hard to make sure we all have the ability to speak to each other’s hearts.

We could not be more proud of, or more grateful for our students, who just completed a successful year.

On Monday, August 27th, students and teachers celebrated the end of this year's Hebrew ulpan with a Hebrew trivia game.

Afterwards, every student got a Hebrew ulpan graduate diploma, and the teachers who volunteer were honored by their students.

On Thursday, August 30th, we celebrated the end of this year's English Language Program with an end of the year ceremony.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Each student received a certificate of completion, and the teachers who dedicated their goodwill, dedication and time as volunteers were appreciated by their students and coordinators.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The former ESL coordinator, Cassie Kramer, gave a short speech and said that “Learning English is the key which can open many doors in the World.”🔑

Congratulations and a huge thank you to our diligent students and wonderful teachers.

We can’t wait for classes to start up again in October!
